YOUTH FOR CHANGE
Coordinated Youth Program
 for
Self Employment Through Agro-Business and Information Communication Technology in Tanzania.

            Historical Background.

IDN is the Non Governmental Organization in Tanzania with the registration No. 00NGO/00002879 under section 12(2) of the Non- Governmental Organization Act No.24 of 2002. The Organization was founded by professional Journalists, and other stakeholders from different professionals.
The Organization membership is open to any Tanzanian who would like to seek, receive and impart the information to others especially to those people who lives in remote areas.
However, IDN as an organization has a duty to promote public access to information by public and private bodies. Through the medium of one’s choice as freedom of information are a fundamental of human right and a foundation of all other human rights to be enjoyed in any democratic society with hinted restriction provided by laws.
Also IDN is committed to serve people regardless their race, academic and gender by giving them social training about Information and Communication Technology, Media Technology, Life Skills Transformation and Entrepreneurship as a social tools in information giving through social media such as Radio, Television, News Papers, Magazine, Journals and Books.

IDN Statement.

 Every person has the right to freedom of opinion and expression, and to seek, receive and impart or disseminate information and ideas through any media of national frontiers.

·        Youth for Change Campaign is the campaigning project for self employment to Youth in Tanzanian.  The project, Youth for Change was launched on May this year 2013 by Hon. Samwel Sitta Minister of East African Community.
·        Currently IDN, with collaboration with youth in Nzega District Tabora running the Youth for Change project for creating self employment to youth through opportunities around Nzega District and Tabora Region.
·        The project Youth for Change based on Agro-Business and Information and Communication Technology. Currently our project has no fund from any donors but we are insisting community to contribute to our project.
·        Youth for Change also working with Nzega District Council through the Office of District Commissioner and District Executive Director Office.
·        We are appreciating the collaboration of our District Commissioner and DED Officer for their great support to our project, through their support we expecting to rich the intended goal before 2016.  
·        Youth for Change also working together with other local Non-Governmental Organization in Nzega District as a partners  like Give Opportunities (GO), Tanzania Youth Potentials (TYPs) and YADEC.
·        Through our Department of Training and Entrepreneurship, Youth for Change working with International Labor Organization (ILO).

Youth for Change Success

·        Capacity development with district officers through technical assistance and key resources.
·        YFCC committees support local youth through activities designing, production, entertainments, decoration and saloon, library, information centre, agriculture activities as a part of self employment.
·        YFCC providing Entrepreneurship Skills, ICT, and Youth Counseling training in Nzega District.
·        Through department of production YFCC, providing services of video documentaries, still and audio production to the local community in Nzega District.
·        We have the vision of starting Media College in the near future, so as to mobilize many youth to investing in education especially in professions courses.
·        YFCC in the near future, we are going to register the company so as to increase the opportunities to youth in Nzega by creating many employments to the community. 
     
Youth for Change Objectives.

·        To improve efficiency and effectiveness in coordination and facilitation of social and economic activities.
·        To contribute towards the reduction of poverty to youth in our communities.
·        To attract, develop, motivate and retain highly qualified staff
·        To achieve sustainable financial growth by the year 2013/2016.
·        To increase the number of committed Youth for Change members.
